Effective communication with patients is a cornerstone of exceptional healthcare, and timely text messages and appointment reminders play a key role in this process. However, patients may sometimes choose to opt out of receiving these notifications—intentionally or not.
In EMBODI Connect, it’s important to provide patients with the opportunity to easily re-enable these notifications if they wish to receive them again. This article outlines the steps that providers can guide their patients through to opt in for text messages and appointment reminders. By following these steps, you can help ensure that patients stay informed and engaged with their care, enhancing their overall experience and promoting better health outcomes.
Your patients can update their communication preferences in EMBODI Connect which allows them to customize which types of messages and notifications they receive. Below are the steps to follow in adjusting communication preferences in EMBODI Connect:
1. Access the Dashboard
- Log in to your EMBODI account using your credentials.
- You will be directed to the dashboard, which is the main screen of the application.
2. Open Your Profile
- Look for the profile icon located at the top right corner of the screen. It usually appears as a user avatar or an icon representing your profile.
- Click on the profile icon to open the menu.
3. Navigate to Communication Preferences
- Scroll down to the bottom.
- Find and click on the option labeled “Communication Preferences”.
4. Choose Your Preferences and Save Your Changes
- You will be presented with various options for communication settings.
- Check the boxes next to the types of communications you wish to receive. You can select or deselect options based on your preferences.
- After adjusting your preferences, make sure to click Save to apply the changes.
