What should we do when we bill an RTM on the day the billing criteria has been met, the patient doesn’t visit the office, but it creates an appointment that disrupts our statistics?
When billing RTM codes for today's service date, it will generate an appointment. However, if you're billing for past days, it shouldn't create one.
For instance, if today’s date is 3/25, to submit a claim for 3/25, input it on 3/26 or you can bill the RTM codes for today's date then delete the appointment it generates.
